The movie is nice. But people are unnecessariliy blaming Amitabh for the lack of commericla success of the movie. After all, he is not the lead character. He knowingly took the role of less than main character. How they use him in the film is definitely upto the director.
The onus of making a hit lied with the central character and the director.
You know this sounds rather daft but one of the reasons this movie flopped is because people did not like preity zinta's haircut in the promos.
Plus the coming out of LOC around the same time also did not help.

Í think it has done pretty well.. Ofcourse not a Super-hit business but 29 crores are pretty good..
