I began playing KH about 5 years ago and gave up after I couldn't beat Riku II in Hollow Bastion. Recently I started over since it had been so long and I beat him on my first try somehow. Anyway, I've almost beaten the game. I'm at The End Of The World. Then I'll move on to Kingdom Hearts 2!
But since these games came out forever ago, are there still other people playing them like I am? I want to talk about them but it seems I'm a few years too late : )

I'm still playing the series as well...I've played KH1, COM, and KH2. I had to watch Birth by Sleep on youtube since I didn't have a PSP, and I purchased 358/2 days and Dream Drop Distance last summer...I'm stuck on BOTH of them :-/
I really want to finish them both before KH3 comes out.
You can count me in. Have been playing this one (PS2 version) for almost 10 years already and still cannot beat it yet (has just finished the Hollow Bastion and got back to the Town with a big question, where to go now).
How can 7-year-olds play and finish THIS is a mystery for me.

shareI have been playing since 2002. I grabbed it up the first moment it released. Then when II came out, I also grabbed it upon release. Its funny you ask because I just started over like an hour ago lol. This will be the 5th time I have played the first one again, and once I am done I will move on to the 2nd one, and it will be my 3rd time playing the 2nd one.
Why do you ask? Do you have any questions about the game?
I think you will find here that most hardcore fans still play the game despite the fact that we are all adults now and substantially older than when the franchise first came out. We've needed something to bide the time while III takes it absurdly sweet time in production.

I am mainly using final mix now that they have been released outside of Japan and own both 1.5 and 2.5. I also have copies of Dream Drop Distance, 358/2 Days and Re:Coded (for the last two it is so I can play through the whole thing than rely on just the HD Cinematic scenes from 1.5 and 2.5 for pride-based reasons.
shareI'm only playing the first two since I only have a PS2. But I'll always prefer the first game anyways. I don't really like the battle system in KH 2. Though, in the second game, I am on the last four battles. I haven't played after that since you can't save once you start. But with the first game I always delete my previous games and start over when I get to the end. I just love the worlds before Hollow Bastin so much.
