This movie stunk!

All this great talent, Peter Coyote, James Woods, Nick Nolte, wasted in a movie that was trying to be a cool indie but was really just a bunch of dog poop. The plot was barely there, i cant believe they made a movie so flimsy with this great talent.

The only thing good about this movie besides the acting was the cinematography which was beautifully bleak.

Dont waste your time on this junk!

2 out of a 10.

Agree wholeheartedly. BORING and unbelievably PRETENTIOUS.

Just because something is esoteric doesn't mean it's so brilliant that it's beyond a person's grasp. It usually means a filmmaker made the movie for himself/herself/themselves.

I saw this movie in the theater, and I wasn't blown away by it, but I generally liked it. I thought the themes were worth exploring, even if they could've been tightened up a bit.

I do like movies with surreal, dream-like qualities, like this one and "The Science of Sleep," so I guess I'm partial.

I have watched this twice now. All I can say is I am glad I didn't see it in the theater, as I would have been upset for wasting my money.
I go to the movies to be entertained, and while I am glad there are those the push the envelope and experiment past the basic formula, in the end, it still must be entertaining.

I think 2 out of 10 is generous.

It really says something that Peter Coyote was completely wasted. The scenes with the six guys (including James Woods) were godawful.
