Where was this version of the Sherlock Holmes story originally released? Cable or DVD?

I believe originally it played on PBS either on Mystery or Masterpiece Theatre. It may have been on BBC as well, but that is just my assumption.

It was originally broadcast on the BBC at Christmas in 2002.
