I don't blame anyone who hated the movie, it bored me stiff. Having said that, perhaps a little explanation can help foreigners: The movie is based on a bestselling novel of the same title and the book is great. It doesn't matter there that not much happens in the whole story - the fun is in Lehmann's hilarious comments and descriptions. None of that was present in the movie. The least they could/should have done was to let us hear some off-commentary by Lehmann. The ending in the movie is unlike the ending in the book. Anyway, I think the book should have been left alone, it wasn't good stuff for a movie to begin with. Was so disappointed myself.
