He stole though the show. However for someone who hates punk he sure named two of the most obscure punk bands ever. Circle of *beep* (philly) and the Dicks (austin). That's the only thing I didn't agree with him on. Still zebraman is the man.
Yeah, I think it's pretty funny that despite his protestations, punk music has had a wider and longer lasting influence on popular culture than heavy metal. But what the hell does he know, he's wearing a man-unitard of zebra stripes.
Yeah that guy is funny! Any metal band will give props to hardcore punk back in '86. On the Special Edition DVD they interview Zebraman at his house and he looks all up tight and lame. He looks really uncomfortable and talks about how he listens to country music.
Now I want to know what happened to Gram (as in Gram of dope)
Zebraman rules, all that punk *beep* sucks, it doesn't belong in this world it belongs on *beep* Mars man. What the hell is punk *beep* And Madonna can go to hell as far as I'm concerned, she's a Dick. Seriously, Zebraman definitely rules. Twisted Sister, Judas Priest, Dokken, Ozzy, Scorpions, they all rule.
I finally saw a really bad bootleg copy of it and now I want to see the DVD and see what a douce bag this guy is. I am guessing he was the guy who pumped my gas last week or is he that guy that still scopes High schools looking for girls.
You'd be guessing wrong. I just watched the DVD special features last night, and the guy is remarkably normal looking. He's got a really nice house and a freakin' BMW in the garage! He seemed sort of embarrassed and awkward about the whole thing, but was pretty good-natured about it. It was funny to see just how normal he was compared to being "Zebraman".
He seemed to be doing well judging by his house. I'm surprised, however, that he didn't have much insight into his earlier days. He was just kind of like, "yeah, that's me."
Does anyone else get the impression that Zebraman probably has the highest IQ of anyone on that DVD?
That's quite possible. I actually got the impression that Zebraman doesn't rock much anymore. He seemed to have lost his passion. Or maybe he just wasn't blitzed out of his mind this time.
