Intro Gleason interview scene question?

In the 'beginning scene only' of the 2002 Gleason TV movie when Gleason was being interviewed, sitting, and talking in front of a black background, was that Brad Garrett playing as Gleason or was that the 'real' Jackie Gleason talking? Is there any way to prove the answer to this question?
