'Bosnian locations are gorgeous'...hahaha

Dear Rebbeca-Paris-France, i`m sorry to dissapoint you but those landscapes you saw in the movie are not in Bosnia, actually movie is filmed entirely in Serbia, town called Uzice and mountain Zlatibor...i`m just watching opening of this movie on it`s original locaton...did you know that Kusturica built whole village for making this movie?
I`d check first something out before i write it, i really hate when i say something ignorant...
maybe this sounds mean but you`d be insulted if someone doesn`t recognize Paris locations in the movies...

Zlatibor and Uzice are far away from Bosnia?

Actually, he didn't build a whole village for filming this movie. He just redesigned an old train station in "Mokra gora" (near Uzice) where the most of the film was shot. I've been there last summer, when shooting was finished and the village you are talking about hadn't been built yet. Kusturica built it afterwards, for his own pleasure.
The mountain where the film was shot is beautiful. It doesn't even need "make up" to look good on the screen.

You do know that the Bosnian countryside does not look any different from the Serbian countryside along the same parallels? Are you trying to say that Serbiais more beautiful that Bosnia? If you are from Serbia, I can understand how you may think that Serbia is the most beautiful in the world. It's natural to love your own.

I am a Serb that was born in Sarajevo. I spent some time in Dalmatia as well. Therefore, I think that central Bosnia and coastal Dalmatia are the most beautiful. However, when I see other landscapes from the former SFRY I am filled with nostalgia. That was all home once. Now none of it is home and I am an ocean away.

My point is, don't make fun of something that mirrors that which you love so dearly.

The locations are near the Bosnian border, and, as someone else has pointed out, the type of scenery in that part Serbia is not wildly different to that in Bosnia

IMDB looks like a fighting arena. It's sometimes funny, but most times' boring.

lol guys...u compare paris and serbia...ofcourse the serbia is better
When u see serbian towns,rivers,villages,mountains,u`ll forget on paris and london etc
