This movie is a miracle

For the first time I saw it, a couple of days ago, I thought it was utter garbage, the worst of Kuturica and one of the worst movies I have ever seen. But as several days passed and most of the negative impressions faded off, something lured me to watch the movie again, and now I realize it's not so bad after all. I changed my rates from 2 to 8. :D

I thought Stimac (Luka) was unconvincing, and Vesna Trivalic's role (Luka's maniac wife) was something most annoying. I hated the choice for several actors, namely Bercek (Veljo) and Kojo (the guy they rocketed in the tunnel). And the "Non Smoking Orchestra"... The only positive thing I could name was cute part of Natasa Solak (Sabaha), and the role of Kusturica's son (cpt. Aleksic). The only moving parts were the opening scene, and the flying bed one. I hated the 1st half of the film, and IMO it could have been reduced to 10-15 minutes.

But as I said, the most "miraculous" part is that I ended up liking this movie.
