No, I agree - the first one was watchable, and actually OK though I never thought I'd like it. I liked Brendan Fraser as George. My daughter begged to watch this because she liked the first one and I couldn't believe how bad it sucked! It is greatly over-acted and the jokes are so stupid, even for little kids. The way it ended was so contrived and dumb - it's like they just had to stick and ending on so they came up with some random thing. I would be embarrassed to even claim this movie if I were Disney.

I really liked the first one - I bought it not long ago. But the second one was just waste of time, energy, and money.

Saw the ending thinking it was the original, but went, "I don't remember this." Bad bestiality joke- woman jumping into the arms of an ape- was cringeworthy. Narrator picking up the villain didn't get a laugh from me.

You Do know that this is a movie for children, do you? This movie shouldnt be taken serious for one minute.
I actually gave it 5/10, it was ok, but not as good as the first, mostly because it was dfferent and worse actors.
Other than that i had no other problem with the movie.

Wow, someone with a name of High school musical hates this movie, this must really be bad.Its on tv tonight so maybe I should skip it.
