The word Thorazine was censored?

It's playing tonight on Freeform and they censored "Thorazine drip" to just drip. I found this very odd like really?

They sometimes blur out the product names in the grocery store scene. I always figured they for some reason didn't get permission to use those brand names, so that's censored in the cable airings.

There's actually already a thread on this topic a little lower down the page.

They call me the Mayor, 'Cause I spend all my days here

omg..if you think the blurring of a med vvas bad...vvell...i am beginning to hate Freeform (better vvhen it vvas ABC fam) and most cable in general. they air really great movies and they totally screvv it up and ixnay certain key scenes, even anything involving partial skin or MILDLY profane vvords, etc. it is October, and this movie is on again (ok i am vvatching it from a fevv days ago and i recorded it), and they have so far deleted tvvo scenes...first from the start vvhen she and her mom first svvitched and they vvent to get dressed...that scene vvas just GONE...there vvas nothing vvrong vvith it...oooo you see a naval piercing..theres a bible joke...BIG deal..shesh. then you have not long after that, she is in the car vvith mom, and the mom makes a joke/jab (even vvith Anna in her body) about the father having passed and all. that is gone too...VVTF? nothing vvrong vvith that scene. grrrr....seriously considering calling up that channel and complaining. if you are gonna air great movies leave them as they are! as it aired in theatres...dont make changes. shesh! i love this movie

I don't like it when TV networks modify original films either, but you don't have to watch their channels. There are better legal avenues for watching films: streaming subscriptions (Netflix, Hulu, etc.); media stores (Windows Movies & TV, VUDU, etc.); rental services (Redbox, Netflix, etc.); DVD/BluRay exchanges; among others.

Edited movies are yet another reason why people shouldn't bother with cable/satellite services anymore.
