Great Film!

I really loved the atmosphere, and the contrast between the family's genteel front with the mortal tensions lying underneath.

It wasn't dramatic enough, imho.

LOL

Noe let me ask you what was disturbing about the money/bra scene ? I think it was meant to show what kind of a person the character was. His family refers to him as a hypocrite and a pig, so we are shown that he actually can act like one.

Not sure if you meant to post this here or not....doesn't really fit with the original topic.... but I'll reply anyway. I think what is 'disturbing'(wouldn't really call it that) about that scene is that the woman didn't care that he did that and went right along with it. I don't know about any other women, but if a guy did that to me I'd slap him in the face... well not really, but I certainly wouldn't meet him the next day to do him. But you're right, it does show his true character.

he doesn´t put any money in her bra! He writes his pharmacy's adress in a note!! That is what he puts in her bra, the note!

I really enjoyed it too. It was beautiful to look at - the scenery, buildings, clothing, actors - and yet lots of ugliness. Like the perverse seductress Michele refers to early on.

my vessel is magnificent and large and huge-ish
