What kind of sociopathic jackass thinks it is a good idea to raise a drawbridge in the middle of a race? I would not have risked a 100K Skyline or Supra or my life in jumping it...so OJ was the only smart one by stopping.
I would want my money back, which I'm sure Tej would say no and say something smart ass in which case it would have been on.
and cars do not run after leaping a Drawbridge that high.

Maybe Tej did it to make the race look more interesting. All these races are the same, maybe Tej draw the bridge up to make the race look more different and more fun to watch.

I agree , plus all those people standing at the start line probly couldnt even see the bridge - so it wasnt even for audience benefit.
