Binaural beats in the opening sequence?

I recently got to see C3 for the second time, and I noticed something during the pre-credits audio - basically the part with the incessant whining. I heard a low-frequency humming that seemed to originate inside my eardrum (?) but was not actually coming out of either speaker. Sounds like binaural beats to me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats

Did anyone else experience this? I don't suspect it would come across via youtube clips due to the low quality. This is approximately the section I'm talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zI3nIq6ipyE There's might be hints of it around 2:00 in that clip... it's hard to tell...

That's quite an observation!
I'm not sure if it's actually Binaural Beats or not, but it's intriguing nonetheless.
Are you familiar with binaural beats and what they're generally used for?

If you don't believe in Jesus Christ and are 100% proud of it, put this in your sig.

Yes, I was aware of them before the movie, but I've never "used" them the way some people do.
