It still amazes how big the fanbase of this movies is. And don't get me wrong, I am a pillar, a cornerstone, a pedestal, or whatever you wanna call me of this fanbase. It's been almost ten years since I discovered this gem, and I'm still preaching, spreading the word about Abitbol and his vision of this "monde de merde". I am happy to see you guys here. Do you have any english speaking, or anglo-saxon friends who know about this nugget ? There can't possibly be any translation to english, is there ?

Sure there are subtitles in English available. Seeing this today and pretty excited.

Well, maybe I should watch it with the subtitles, just to see if the jokes are properly translated. But the humour is so absurd that I'm having a hard time imagining it in English. Just to clarify, I am French, I don't need the subtitles.

So, did you see it? Did you like it ? Are you one of us now ?

There are so many expressions I use on a daily basis that come directly from this movie, I look like an idiot when I use them around people who haven't been touched by the class of Abitbol. The name, just the name "Abitbol" is a "sesame" when I meet people. It's become a password for an Eye-Wide-Shut-like community.
