One of the Best Made Documentaries I've Ever Seen

This was awesome. Strummer was engaging, witty and funny. It shows why even though these guys were only around from 1977-1982. They are still important and popular.

My favorite scenes were when they explained how they came up with "White Riot" and when they went to New York City for the first time and when they went to Jamaica.

My favorite quote was when he said "we signed with CBS for 100,000 pounds. That was a lot of money to us at the time, but what we originally thought was a 5 record deal, was in fact a 10 record deal"

I thought it was terribly made, a lot of jumping from moment to moment with no effort to establish context.

For example, they tell you that Topper Headon is kicked out of the band, then they never bother to mention who replaced him.

Shoddy and ragged flick. Only worth it if you're a big fan and can fill in the gaps yourself.

I think it was also cut way too tight. As a newcomer to the Clash it didn't really explain much about them or their lives, compared to End of a century, or Filth and the fury did.
