James McAvoy's character

Haven't seen the film, but I'm just wondering what role James McAvoy's character plays in it.

He's the Romeo type character. He has a fairly big part. If you're a McAvoy fan I think it's worth it.

Anyone know if he's really singing in it?

Going to watch the movie tonight. But being an avid McAvoy fan I am fairly certain it is him singing. There's a clip on youtube.com of him when he was in Macbeth for the BBC and it was him singing there. He was also in West Side Story a long time ago onstage where he played Riff so knowing that much about him it is most likely him.

yea he can definitely sing! I'm not sure, though, whether he is singing in Bollywood Queen. The performances I was able to watch closely were obviously synched, and I thought the voice didn't sound like the one in Macbeth. Has anybody been able to check out the credits? I can't get the copy I have to play on a regular DVD, only a mini and the credits are too small to see.

it's not him singing. i have the soundtrack and the voice is credited as someone else

I'm sorry, I think this film is horrible. This and Penelope are his only films I can't watch without wincing.

I was hoping that was him singing because the voice was good. He did not sing well in that Shakespeare thing. Maybe his piano playing is better.
