The flashbacks were more realistic.

OK, I relise that the parts of the movie with the real Adam West and Burt Ward are meant to be campy and along the same lines as the movie but the flash back scenes have more of a realistic edge to it, don't they....surely it would have been a better idea to make a movie about how the series was made, that wpuld have been a better idea all together....as in the whole movie would have starred the guys playing Ward and West in there hey-day.

Any thoughts?

if the whole movie was in flashback it couldn't star Adam West and Burt Ward.....

Well presumably anyone whyo wants to know the backsory LIKED the show to begin with. Thus, the movie is perfectly balanced.
It's like a new episode of the TV show basically, with "breaks" into a standard biopic.
Neither format would have worked anywhere as well by themselves.

I agree. Both parts were fun, pure and simple.
