Kim Marcus -- Love Interest or Temptress?

They are showing reruns of "Without a Trace" here in Las Vegas. Since the episodes are shown out of sequence, I have a question about the character of Kim Marcus (the super-sexy Vanessa Marcil.) I see by checking with the IMBD that she has already appeared in two episodes -- which I have seen -- and is supposed to appear in a third. My question: is Kim really in love with Fitzgerald (Eric Close) or is she a murderous temptress? I am opting for the former, as Kim and Fitzgerald make a lovely couple.
