Help me with the name of an episode?

Hi,

There was an episode of "Without a Trace" that I caught on TV years ago when I was babysitting. I watched all but the last 10 minutes, but do not know the episode name (or even what season it was from!). I'm hoping that if I describe the plot someone here might know what episode or season it was from.

I missed the very beginning, but I know that the investigation leads to some sort of prostitution ring. There is a man working for the bad guys, but it turns out that he is really an undercover officer of some sort. In one scene, he recounts how one of the girls tried to escape and he was supposed to beat her up, so he sort of half did it. I think that this girl was maybe later killed and he felt guilty for not having saved her.

I remember him having an intense conversation with Jack about how the undercover work was really getting to him . . . and then my clients got home and I had to turn off the TV.

Anyone have an idea of what this episode was? Or what season? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The episode your looking for is season 6 ep 13

Thie episode also sounds like one in season 3 called lone star. Hope that helps

Thank you both for your responses! The episode that I am looking for was indeed "Lone Star." Since Netflix doesn't have season 3 on DVD I'll probably order the episode from Amazon so that I can finish it!

Again, thanks for the quick replies! I thought it might be a month or two until I got a response.
