What movie was "Brad" watching in "There Goes the Bride"?

Hi there.

About halfway through "There Goes the Bride", Jack and Martin go looking for "Raymond Yates" but find "Brad" instead.

Brad tells the story of how he met Audrey. As the flashback began, Brad is watching some kind of Science-Fiction Comedy with two weird looking aliens.

Does anyone have any idea what movie that was?
