Why Bother Continuing?

I think it's time this show go off altogether. Ever since Regis left, the show just hasn't been the same, to say the least. When he left, the show should have just gone with him. Very few people win a million dollars. Is this show even about winning a million dollars, or is just about seeing how much money people win by answering as many questions as they can answer (lifelines included)? First there are different hosts, and now the contestants (along with the host) no longer sit. What next? No lifelines? More choices for each question? Okay, so Regis did come back for the show's 10th anniversary. Maybe that should have been the only episode to air years after he left. Actually, I think there was more than one 10th Anniversary episode. If hardly anybody wins a million dollars, maybe the show should just be renamed. What was once the top-rated show now feels more like a time-passer.

It's bringing in enough ratings to stay on the air so it's not going to be canceled anytime soon. I haven't watched it in years.

Why do you care if it's still on? If you aren't interested in watching, watch something else.

The main reason why Who Wants To Be A Millionaire got cancelled was because of low ratings and viewership had dropped and this may have played a major role in the cancellation is that Tamaron Hall's talk show was going to replace it in some stations around the country but I think what really caused Who Wants To Be A Millionaire's death was that the show was basically a advertisement for Las Vegas and during each episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire they would put mini commercials for Caesars Palace Planet Hollywood Hotel and Paris Las Vegas Hotel and I bet those hotels recieved tons of money from Millionaire each time their commercials would air but people who attended the tapings as audience members were able to get discounts on Las Vegas hotels. Chris Harrison brought a lot of life back to the show and after the disappointments with Cedric The Entertainer and Terry Crews Chris Harrison was the best choice for Millionaire since Meredith Veira and Regis Philbin began hosting it and now that Millionaire is cancelled I wish Chris Harrison could host another game besides focusing on The Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise because he has talent for game show hosting and ever since he started hosting his first game show Mall Masters for GSN when the 2000's began. But I do think that like Family Feud made a comeback in 1988 and 1996 and 1999 to the current Steve Harvey version and Let's Make A Deal Who Wants To Be A Millionaire will return with a new improved revival in the future

I think it had low ratings because they ran too many re-re-re-runs.
