Anyone else notice? (Correct answers on 9/30/13 show)
Did anyone else notice that the correct answers for all but one of the ten Round One questions (specifically the third question) had C for the correct answer? As well as the "Question of the Day" during the last commercial break!
And then on the first "Classic Millionaire" ($100,000) question, the contestant was unsure but decided to guess at C on a hunch and was wrong.
I'm a retired school psychologist and took graduate courses in statistical probabilities, in the composition of multiple choice test questions, and in subliminal operant conditioning. There is no way that nine out of ten multiple choice questions with four choices each would end up with the same letter choice correct answer by blind random arrangement. (That's a 1 in 1,048,576 probability.)
Something's not kosher here. It looks to me like either there was some collusion beforehand to boost the contestant's winnings, or the contestant was subliminally conditioned into anticipating that C would always be the correct answer and then got stung once she entered "Classic Millionaire". Please note that I'm not accusing anybody of anything, but I do smell a rat!
