Think I may have to stop watching this

The dim contestants are getting too much for me. The show is not about what it pretends to be about---getting answers right to win money. It is about getting the audience all emotionally involved in the the contestants' agony....such a manipulation of the despised audience members. I like to see if I can answer all the questions correctly....but the way this show is done is getting more and more impossible to bear.

"Dim contestants"? "Despised audience members"? Do you, at least, like the host(s)?

I don't hate the hosts, though I feel they are required to put on a bogus act, Cedric so black hipster, his successor so over the top excited....
