They've gotta tighten the show

OK, so there's this black college student, the category is classic literature and she knows she hasn't got a clue as to the correct answer. But that doesn't stop her from mumbling about things that really have nothing to do with the answers for five minutes. Finally, the host forces her to make a decision. She calls her mother out of the audience for help. For the next four minutes the student and mother mumble about the possible correct answer. Neither of them has a clue. So, what then? They call her father out of the audience to help. The trio then mumbles for three minutes before. It's clear these three haven't read anything more challenging the back of a Captain Crunch box. Finally, they pick the wrong answer and are escorted from the stage. Jesus Christ! is any game show worse than this?

They had a timer on at one point. You had 15 seconds for each of the first five questions, 30 for the next five, (I think) 45 for the next four. For the $1,000,000 question, you had the amount of time that was left over from each of the previous questions. I don't have a problem playing the game without one.

Annoying the world since 1960!
