Will there EVER be a DVD set???

I'm sure this particular topic has been brought up on these boards before, but I just thought I'd ask again--will this show ever make it to DVD?? Obviously it has a decent following, Lifetime has been showing it steadily for a number of years now, and it's also syndicated on a few other networks. I don't understand why the seasons haven't been released yet. Does anyone know what the deal is?

reply

Probably the usual excuse-no sales. I'm tired of Lifetime moving it all over the schedule.

reply

I wish the DVD's would come out too! Im so mad at lifetime for moving it all over, also hate how they play reba and wifeswap all the time!

If anything was ever released on DVD I would def purchase it, as I'm sure many others would do the same. I remember going to a Starstruck Entertainment (where I purchase majority of dvds/blu rays). I asked the clerk if there was anything released on DVD. He immediately gave me a frown, and replied "Buddy I wish, I'm waiting to hear news on a DVD release too."

ps. Watching "Still a team" right now.

It's not even on Lifetime now. :(

reply

Yep, looks like it's gone from lifetime now, i was lucky to record most if not all of them with my dvd recorder because not only can't we watch them on tv it looks like they will never be released to dvd, glad now that i did record them all while i was able.

That's all I want for Christmas this year!!!! My husband is going crazy even looking for bootlegs... We got so hooked on it, but only saw maybe 20 episodes, so there are a lot that I missed. I can't imagine why they took it off the air!

reply

I have a few shows on tape. I knew I should have recorded more. :(

Looks like it's no longer on ABC Family.

I just found that out today. I usually watch it every weekday and I turned it there today only to find that it's been replaced by America's Funniest Home videos. They NEED to bring this show to DVD!!!

reply

This is a great show and it is shame that there isn't an official DVD release, but you should check out ioffer.com. They have full series sets there for around $20.00.

LOL, just ordered a set from ioffer a few minutes ago. I was always kinda iffy about it because I didn't know how the quality would be, but seeing it's not on ABC family anymore and it doesn't look like it's going to be professionally released to DVD I figured I might as well risk the $20 and order it.

reply

I've ordered a few different television series from ioffer and I have yet to be dissapointed. All of the sellers I've dealt with have been excellent with very good communication. Hope all works well for you!

I'm tired of trying to record and the quality isn't good.

Go to ioffer.com

The whole show is available there for excellent prices and the set I got plays perfectly.

reply

I agree. The set I got plays just fine.

reply

The OP wrote this almost 9 years ago and it still isn't available on DVD. There has to be some kind of legal reason that its never been released. They release all other kinds of shows on DVD so why not this?

reply

If it picks you up any, pretty much every episode seems to be available on YouTube.
