Would you get this, just because it's "Stargate"?

Not me, since Infinity has no connection with the series or the movie, not even the same creators. Yes I know, the movie-makers and the creators of SG-1 and the rest had no connection either, but they do have some of the same actors (like the guys who plays Skaara and Kasuf) and many of the same characters.

It takes place 30 years after the 1994 film, but ignores S-G1, Atlantis and Universe. I like the concept and premise of the show: 4 Stargate Command cadets and a mysterious extra terrestrial, cut off from Earth by a traitor, lost in unknown parts of the universe, using the Stargates to try and get back home to Earth.
