dvd subtitles-?

could anybody let me know if the dvd includes spanish subtitles-? ive found mixed information, so i would appreciate a response ...

For some reason the DVD only has subtitles in Spanish. There's no English subtitles, which I found quite odd for an American film.

There're English closed captions if you turn them on on your TV.
