If the ending was different...

Okay so I watched this yesterday and last night when I went to bed I had a dream that Genevieve died at the end. Matt took her home and then lightening hit the house and she was struck and died. How weird of an ending would that have been if it was the actual ending? Or if Genevieve died while Franchesca was in labor? How diffrent would your view of the movie be if that had actually happened?

Personally, I don't think I would like it as much, I would think that the producers were just looking for a way out of making a decision about the baby.
