I think a sequel would be cool, showing Francesca coming back and wanting to be part of the baby's life.

Francesca would TRY to be out of the Matt & his baby girl lives b/c at end Francesca didn't hold her little girl at all This shows that Francesca is not good with kids
Matt would want to more kids anyways he Loves babies & little kids
He would go to YALE but wants to be a ECE teacher

I don't think her not holding her baby at the end necessarily means she's not good with children. I think it's more of an indication that she fears and doesn't want to bond with her baby.

Many girls who have made the decision to put their baby up for adoption while they're pregnant will not look at or hold their baby once he/she is born. It's actually very understandable (at least from my point of view as a parent).
