I don't want to defend this movie because I wasn't all that impressed with it but...
Try to keep in mind that the DVD version was completely slashed to pieces... to the point where there is really nothing left of it. Who know? Maybe this was a GREAT movie. It's pretty hard to tell when all of the "questionable" scenes were sanitized for your protection.
I presume you're in the UK. As I've said on the 'Murder Set Pieces' board, the UK censors are absolute wimps.

Yeah, the UK disc is missing nearly a whooping 7 minutes (Both the Shriek version and Hardgore). The cuts totally destroy the film's whole purpose, they should have just rejected it instead. I must say though, the cuts were made very neatly by the company but it still ruins this movie.
Can't say an uncut version is easy to come by, I'm lucky I got Frightflix's director's cut way back, but now it seems nearly impossible to find one. All the uncut versions are OOP.
