Why do so many GREAT shows get CANCELLED!!!

Why do all of my favorite shows like Miricles and Birds of Prey and Tru Calling always get cancelled! After my two favorite shows Buffy and Angel got ended it was really hard for me to find shows that I could like even close to as much. Then I found Birds of Prey and Miricles and Tru Calling. Its really so upsetting.

I'll tell you why all the GREAT shows get cacelled, its because Television is a people medium, for medium people.
The exceptional is too hard & requires too much thinking.

It was cancelled!?!?! It just premeaired last night, and I thought it was great! At least we should get all the episodes.

The main guy, Paul Callan I think his name is, reminds me of Jhonny Depp x Kiano Reves.

The big thing that you need to look at is the state of the US Television market these days. Living here in the US and seeing the recent trend really disapoints me. Nearly any show that portrays Christianity in a positive light is almost certain to be cancelled pretty quickly. The rule in the mss media here is that Christianity is bad. Point Pleasant suffered a similar fate last year. I found both to be very entertaining shows that left a great deal of room for reflection and discussion based on your own viewpoints. In other words, these shows were geared for an inteligent audience.

Look at where the ratings are these days. It focuses on the mundane and shows that glorify the worst in humanity. Just about any reality show and Desperate Housewives are prime examples. You generally are given "good guys" that are horrid people.

I for one don't really watch much network TV anymore as a result of the crap they are putting on these days. I simply prefer to watch something entertaining, not just mind numbing garbage.
