miracles VS x-files..

Hi..
Well, i've never heard of miracles before, i just found about it incidently and i was much iterested of the positive reviews it recieved in this board and in the Amazon reviews.

Im Hesitant if i should or should'nt buy the DVD, im actually a fan of the paranoma and dark dramas like The x-files and millennium.
So can any one tell me which is much better, miracles or x-files ?? and is miracles closer to x-files or millennium ?? is it more into reliegion or more into paranorma ???
And im not really a fan of Skeet ulrich, i've never seen him in any good show or movie before, i think he is a major let back to me in buying this DVD, is he really that good in this show ??? if it was another actor who starred in this show i would have been more encouraged to buy it !! So i don't really know about Skeet, hmmmmm, not encouraging !

For you guys who saw the x-files, millennium, wonderfalls and miracles..
Which is better miracles or x-files ?
Which is better miracles or millennium ?
Which is better x-files or millennium ?
Which is better miracles or wonderfalls ?
And finnally, how good is wonderfalls ??

And for your information, i only saw the x-files and millennium but i havent seen wonderfalls and miracles, im planning to buy the DVD but it depends on your answers to the above questions.

And i still think that skeet ulrich was a bad choice for miracles, i did'nt like him in scream and i havent seen any good shows for him !

Wonderfalls I never saw....

Miracles to me was great like the original couple of series of the X-files, perhaps even better. Miracles was more 'spooky' shall we say :D

The later series of x-files went well & truly downhill. Miracles never got that chance.

I actually bought the DVD, and finally started watching Miracles..I saw 4 episodes so far, and i must say that it is way better than what i expected, i have a good feeling about the rest of the show, i guess it will rock !
Its just a great show, so spooky and dark, sometimes i feel it is better than the x-files !! what a great show !!
And i take back what ever i said about Skeet Ulrich, he does a great job in this show, i can't think of anyone else taking his role, way to go Skeet !

I also like to comment on Wonderfalls, i actually watched the whole show on DVD, i can say it is a good show for its genre, and since im not a fan of drama\comedy shows, i must say it was quit entertaining, but miracles is much much better.

Finally a question, does anyone knows the song of the openning credits ??the theme song ??

The theme music was composed specially for the show.

I love paranormal shows and The X-Files has always been a love of mine, but I do think Miracles is better. And Wonderfalls is EXCELLENT. So funny.

Hard to compare, since The X-Files had nine seasons to develop. Miracles did have a solid first season, though. In fact, it delivered some of the best scares I've seen on television to date. The Patient remains one of the eeriest and scariest episodes of television I've seen. That's a high compliment, too, as it's not often that TV horror shows actually creep me out.

That said, the main arc never did much to intrigue me at all. Alva is also the only really interesting character of the series. The flaws were there, but I could definitely have seen the series expanding and getting better.

Who knows how Miracles would have fared if given the same opportunity to develop as The X-Files. That said, something The X-Files had during its first season that I thought Miracles somewhat lacked was terrific chemistry between its leads. Even in weaker episodes, the Mulder/Scully (yep, I was a shipper) relationships would keep things moving.
