I don't understand..
She was removed in the second season. Why?
And she wasnt even listed in the beginning credits. Why?
The kid who lived next door was in fewer eposides, but was listened in the beginning credits. The daughter was in a few more and wasnt even listed..

Samantha Browne-Walters (Bonnie's daughter Samantha) was listed in every episode from the first season (position #4) in the beginning credits. In the second season she was no longer a cast member (neither starring, recurring or guest), so she was in no single episode of the 2nd season and was not credited. Usually the beginning credits of a TV series change with every new season.
Frankie Ryan (Manriquez) as Charlie's friend from the neighborhood had in the first season a recurring role. He was only listed in the end credits and only when he had an appearance in an episode. In season 2 he became a starring role and was in the beginning credits.

Another example is Natalie West as Crystal in "Roseanne", a recurring role in season 1 and 2 with credit at the end (only when she was in an episode), starring in season 3 and 4 with credit at the beginning (in every episode, if she was in it or not) and then from season 5 on again a recurring role with credit at the end (only when she appeared.)

I liked the show much better with the daughter and really hated the neighbor kid. I actually simply stopped watching it because of that kid. It was never explained what happened (in the show) to the daughter; she was just gone. When the show was cancelled, I didn't care at all.

Another poster said she got fired - likely because of her parents.
It made the show even harder to watch without her.
(to me, the show only worked on the 'TV set'. I liked the show, and would watch Bonnie in ANYTHING. But the home life, maid, husband, son and neighbor kid were awful. The daughter was the only one that seemed realistic)

I liked all of the cast members. It would've been nice to see them offer an explanation for where the girl went though. Maybe they could just say that she went to a boarding school for whatever reason?
