What happened to Veatrice?
She's been missing from the show since they returned from the Chistmas break.

shareI did a quick news search and checked legacy.com (obits) but nothing came up. How did she die? Is too bad she'll miss the first black prez, I guess.
I just saw the memorial picture on Kimmel and was all 'wtf?'
I almost thought they were joking at first, I'm really choked up right now.

She died on 1/21/09. Very Sad she will be missed. She looked alot skinny in clip.

She must have been battling the cancer for some time she started wearing a wig months ago, I just thought she was going for a new look and had a little extra money thanks to the show.
Jimmy's such a nice guy and he treats everyone that works for him like family the whole staff must be devastated.
She died of Cancer, it's amazing that she continued to work throughout the battle. This explains why she always wore wigs. She was one of the best parts of the show. It was even better because she wasn't an actress, she was just a normal person that worked security and was naturally funny in the role of a foul mouthed Aunt Esther. She will be missed.
