Yea I'm with u *beep* em they didn't give Fastlane the first class, red carpet treatment it deserves and how could those sons of bitches mess with the music

reply

Funny how we all wanted Fastlane on DVD and finally when we get it we tell them to *beep* off.

But they had it coming, no widescreen? The music I understand but common...WIDESCREEN > FULLSCREEN everytime.

i bet all you guys like widescreen because it preserves the movie in the format that it was originally shot it but guess what fastlane WAS shot in FULLSCREEN so you will never see it in widescreen

reply

are you *beep* retarded? No it wasn't. What the hell are you basing that opinion on? I've seen it in widescreen when it was originally aired on the Fox Digital 480p channel back in 2003. I have screenshots of several episodes IN WIDESCREEN, compare them to full screen crap that is on the dvds and you'll clearly be able to tell the dvds are cropping off the left and right side, thus Full Screen, moron...

reply

You can download fastlane episodes that were ripped from TV on torrent sites. Some are fullscreen while others are in widescreen. They were all shot in widescreen obviously.

Up until now they had a good track record for keeping music intact. But with this release and Birds of Prey they screwed us. I am sure they saw Paramount and Universal releasing substandard sets and still grossing good sales. So why should they bother anymore with getting music rights.

reply

Sorry to bump this post, but I really have to say that WB has screwed us over first they ended Fastlane after one season, people including me also think they ended Third Watch a bit too early, also they ended the LA cop drama Southland after one season. Maybe someone like John Wells who did Third Watch and Southland could pick up Fastlane, who knows. But it just sucks.

I have to say since watching the last episode end just a few minutes ago from my torrent, I am somewhat sad to see that what had shaped 13 to 14 year old mind was never to be continued. I am saying this again, they should have been able to bring it back in 2008 or 2009, but it is a shame.
