I loved idol

Yeah, it's still the best singing show to date. in terms of reality competition shows Idol has to be #1 overall.

but looking back on it, in terms of best judges... i think Simon/Kara D where the best all around and for one more i might go with Steven Tyler as his overall presence makes em as if i had to pick three judges on Idol as the best those three would be my choice.

i think most of The Voice popularity is because of the judges popularity (more specifically Adam/Blake). but when i think of singers with Idol vs The Voice, my money is on Idol's best as i tend to remember them more. but in terms of judges... The Voice wins there especially comparing to Idol's most recent judges panel.

You don't have to miss it that much longer, apparently the E.P said in his acceptance speech at the C.A. Emmys that it's coming back in 2018. I wouldn't mind seeing it back because it was on for so long, but it just seems so wasted to do all the hoop-la over the "series finale"

I'll miss it too; it was the only talent competition I bothered to watch. I don't care about The Voice much or the "__ Got Talent" shows. Idol was the only one that hooked me from the start.

I think quality faltered in the later seasons but I will always have nostalgia for the earlier ones.
