help omega pirate

Yeah the Pirates which come after you are easily avoidable, always have the power beam charged and use the Super Missile to hit the Omega Pirate... not that it matters much as by now, I guess you've already done it.

Just keep using your strife to dodge the Pirates, as they are Melee attackers and they don't use guns.

Use standard FPS tactics keep away from his melee attacks, his other attacks are easily dodgeable (double jump against the electric wave, dash against mortars).

The Elemental Pirates are the tricky part, I'd suggest using the Power Bombs against Wave and Power Troopers and the Ice Beam against Ice Troopers. Beyond that Use the Plasma Beam against the Plasma Troopers

You expecting to run into much gunfire in these caves?

I found it pretty easy. Just concussion beam the hell out of him, staying at a medium distance. When he turns invisable switch to the x ray visor and wait for him to re appear in one of the phazon areas. Ignore the other pirates that come along, although you could safely take out one or two in the time it takes for him to re appear once turned invisable.

Depending upon how many energy tanks you have accumulated up to that point this strategy may help:

Blast away his armor with charged Plasma shots.

Quickly kill the space pirates he sicks on you.

Then Find the omega pirate recharging over the phazon and hit him with a super missle. Find him again and hit him with another super missile as quickly as you can. He'll sick more pirates on you, ignore them. If your timing is good, you can kill him the first time this way without giving him a chance to replenish his armor.
