Man of the Year is the beginning of new era!

MOTY is an extraordinary film which combines a lot of different elements. It has mystery, romantic comedy, clever banter, and tragedy all entertwined with fabulous pacing. There are so many plots and subplots that you are always focused on the film and the next sequence. These plots and subplots are braided in such a manner that they are seamless (is that a mixed metaphor?). Anyhow...on top of being a great film which stands on its own, it was also filmed in one day...that is incredible! This is really the beginning a new way to film. One of the great advantages is that the film's actors have the fresh quality of the here and now rather than the somewhat stilted takes one can easily observe in other films. It is more like theater! I'm looking forward to more films from this group. It's a new era in film making!
