If the "twist" at the ending goes for real, it would work only with people who: a) live at least in England, b) rented the film in VHS, c) are splendid morons. If you match all these three requirements then watch it, you´ll love it. If not, just count your fingers again and again for one hour and a half and you´ll be doing something more useful.

Yeah, That kinda made the point of the ending a little blunted, It wasn't so bad that it was on DVD, but I thought the fact that you should have rented the film for it to work slightly more distracting. It wouldn't be effective if you had for instance, Bought it/ Borrowed it from a friend/ seen it from a pirate copy etc.

I was gifted this movie by a friend, but I don't care... I appreciate the thought behind the idea, even if the execution won't always work. It's just suspension of disbelief - can you buy the actor as a serial killer? If not, then the film is obviously ruined for you, but if yes, then your mind is at liberty to wonder 'What if somebody in the real world had a similar idea'?!
