Really enjoying this series, and have watched it faithfully ... unfortunately I was unable to see several episodes of the second series (around #18 to 21 I believe), and I do not know what became of that red-headed villanness, Lucrezia van Necker. Was she killed? Or did she just run off into exile somewhere? And did Nicola ever find out that it was she who killed his mother? I have two more episodes to go until I reach the end of the second series, and I will see those tomorrow evening.

Also, does anyone know whether there are plans to release this series on DVD? I would happily buy both Part 1 and Part 2.

hi,

Lucrezia Van Necker had to leave Napoli because Nicola found out who killed his mother. She managed not being murdered by nicola as she hinted she was pregnant with his baby. But we'll never know if this is true or not.
However Lucrezia will make an appearence on the third series Rivombrosa which is set 20 years later.

I know that the DVD of the 1st and second series are availabe in Italy but not sure if you can find them abroad.

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. I imagine the DVD's in Italy are regionally coded for Europe, and as I am in North America, I would not be able to see them here.

I did read about a 3rd series on Rivombrosa. If it is as well done as the first two, it will be worth watching.
