Comedic concepts..

Even though this game has been bashed by many players, critics, and gaming magazines alike, it has 3 of the funniest LOL moments in gaming history:

1) In Dante's game, the next-to-last boss is named "Argosax the Chaos" - extremely creative use of words by the game's creators who may have drew inspiration from something like one of those Warlock movies; who knows?!? but when you see the name for the first time it just sounds like some sort of unholy conjured beast from within the core of alter-existence.

and to follow it up..

2) The final boss (Dante's game) is named "The Despair Embodied" - that's just freakin' hilarious, like it came from some sort of MST3K movie or other low budget cheezy sci-fi film about zombies or other freaky creatures.

and my personal favorite..

3) After Dante defeats Arius (the mastermind behind the evil corporation), you get a cutscene in which Arius stumbles forward overdramatically in a last attempt to babble about his worthiness to rule the world or whatnot, displaying the standard video game villian whining technique, pondering how he ever could have lost, and then he says, "I could have been king" - At which moment the camera pans over and in on Dante who raises his handguns, points them directly at Arius, and keeping a straight face, says (in his typical suave Dante-esqe fashion), "King?.. HERE'S YOUR CROWN!" - And blows Arius out of the window of his skyscraper as he screams.

Im not as keen on DMC2 as the others, but yes! That third one you mentioned was *fantastic*! I had to repeat that part quite a few times, and never stopped grinning at it *grin*
