This crowd? Booing O'Connor off the stage? Really?

It seemed odd to me... I'm trying to grok the demographic, here. Erstwhile '60s-gen hipsters who straightened up/flew right enough to afford US$150/seat tickets.

It is to ponder. I'd of thunk this crowd to at least be tolerant of a little social consciousness "edge". I know Bob sort of eschewed that path--long, long ago moving from the social to the personal. But still. It was a stunner, and kinda riveting, hearing that amazing, threatening storm of indignation spewing forth from the crowd. Yikes! Why the ire?

I agree... Seems totally uncalled for... Not fond of Ms. O'Connor myself, but this was in America and we all have our freedoms!

This was, after all, after she tore up the Pope's picture.

The crowd had the freedom to boo her, and they did. The night was all about Dylan, and she tried to make it about herself.
