one of the best anime that i have watched..but it has the worst title song that i have heard ...well in my opinion..the credits song is awesome

i am talking about penpals...the end credits song is awesome..but the opening song with that horrible guitar solo with the worst tone that i have ever heard ..is something i cannot stand ..the song does not even go with the anime..

shareI like it, it's very unique for an anime. I just hate the lyrics. I guess japanese people don't give a damn if the lyrics makes sense or if it's not in correct english.
sharehaha the engrish lyrics are especially horrible when you're watching it with subtitles and realized the entire songs are in english but they mangled the pronunciation so bad you can barely understand a third of it. i thought the selection for op and end are decent, kinda sets you up for false sense of security as you watch the series for the first time; watch op - oh hey another action anime with big sword guy and the semi-upbeat opening it's probably not going to be too serious,...watch the series - BLOODBATH! ASSRAPE! (in no particular order) OMGWTFBBQ, watch closing - oh the show's over, just the type of music to calm the *beep* down. they could've just use forces as the opening theme, but then it would've cheapened the series from the constant attempt to get your adrenaline pumping right from the start.

Man you're not bluffing, I just started watching this today pretty good, but man the opening was laughable I had heard about this anime through a song called Forces it sounded amazing so I guess my hopes were a little too high, but man that guitar solo ha, ha, ha.

i watched berserk couple of years back ,seriously dude i was nt able to comprehend the reason for including that track for a great anime of this nature.
I think he producers were smoking pot while making that decision.

I really like the song, but it is the only thing out of place in this anime. Each time it comes on I cringe for how poorly it fits.
Though to be fair most animes have opening themes that dont fit. I havent worked out why it doesnt work.
