Berserk 1997 is probably the best anime series of all time!

I don't think there are any anime series as good as Berserk,I'v tried looking and every thing else is either just okay or complete garbage.Attack on titian and Elfen Lied these shows are just dumb action gorefests, they are hollow.The only other anime series were I actually felt something was Evangelion, it was okay.Why is there so much garbage anime series out there?
It seems to me that all the good anime are movies, It could also be just me I generally prefer movies over tv series, Berserk being the exception.

godzilla5417 is right - Berzerk is the best anime series of all time and easily one of the world's best works of fiction - no hyperbole. It's a truly enlightened story that stands the test of time.

Having said that, I have enjoyed other anime series - none come close to Berzerk - but Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is excellent, Death Note is very gripping, and I love Mushishi as much as Berzerk, because it's beautiful.

Yeah of course there are some other good anime series out there, but only a hand full really.

Berserk the series is still going isn't it? I'm confused because I watched series 1 then 2, which is different in that its better quality drawing but a bit of that silly jokey anime style which i don't like for this.I haven't saw it since I was a kid but my favourite anime series is Robotech.
