Music

Around 2/3 of the way through the trailer they play a very familiar piece of music which I cannot place. If anyone remembers where it's from plz tell me. Thx.

Finally, someone has noticed the music. I have had problems with my computer, and I have only just joined IMDb or I would have said something the first day heard that music. That is, without a doubt, the same music from the movie Dragonheart . Although, like I said i just got this up, so this "thred" or peticular "forum" (illiterate in terms >.<) may be long dead and no one is even listening to this. However, I feel I must say, even if not heard, that the music from THE YOUNG BLACK STALLION was "borrowed" or taken from DRAGONHEART (in the top 5 of best movie's in the world by my book). I wonder how and why they got the rights to that music. Perhaps they hired the same composer. I'm not sure

It's from Dragonheart (Long Live Draco) and I don't mean to sound like I'm too affected by it but I wasn't very happy with the idea that they used the music from Dragonheart..

-Is there any hope, Gandalf? For Frodo and Sam?
-There never was much hope. Just a fool's hope.

reply

I don't think any of the DragonHeart fans out there were very happy about it. I sure wasn't.

Ah man, I am so glad that you asked that question. I was just ready to post the same thing, it was driving me insane! Dragonheart. . . I love that movie.

They use this music for every sappy b-flick they make...its unfortunate, this music is gorgeous and deserves some respect.
