occurs in this film when Lea and Charles are alone in the shop. Their conversation as well as the conversation between Lea and Albert, when he returns, is truly memorable and heart rending.
shareThere were so many wonderful vignettes in the film. But yes, Lea's yearning and Charles's anguish were achingly portrayed in the scene you mention. Loved this film, it was unique and seemed realistic. I imagine that's very much how it was in Paris in 1946.
