Does Thomas Ian Griffith get to cut loose with some Martial Art kicks?

It's out now, the only place i can find them is in it's own section of the New Release wall. I'm going to pick it up some time soon. The original is my favorit Van-Damme movie, and this one has Thomas Ian Grifith in it! Yahoo!

BTW, is Grifith a hero or a villian? He does great as both, I'm just curious.

I got Timecop 2 on Saturday at Suncoast and Griffith is both in a ways.

He wants to wipe out monsters like Hitler before these monsters do their evil, however he is also wanting to remake time in his own image(he acts somewhat like Ron Silver's Mc Comb character from the original Timecop).

There was 1 problem with Timecop 2 I have:

How come Douglas when he came too close in contact with his younger self didnt melt into nothing like Mc Comb did in the first film.

It only happens if they physically touch. The whole "matter can't occupy the same space" deal, as what happened to the bad guy in the first movie. He didn't physically touch him, so he's safe. Same reason nothing happened to Brian when he encountered his younger self.
The bigger nitpick is; how can it be the same matter when we slough off skins cells on a regular basis and the matter we're composed of at one point in our lives are differents particles of matter than another.....
Like I said; it's just a nitpick.
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this movie; more than the first. Probably because it didn't do so much with corruption and jumping around, within a very small time frame. Instead; they're back and forth through history; it deals with changing events and how it effects everything else. It was a great scifi/time travel story. I especially liked the ending with the captions of what happened to the players in the movie and how changes effected them. Especially that part with the Asian man Miller killed in the past, mistaking him for Brian's ancestor, presumably, and his descendant really does save the world.
