Names of songs

whats some of the names of those music in the movie, like all those techno rock stuff...i saw it on tv, i cant see the song credits...:(

There are five pieces listed in the credits. With the exception of two classical pieces and a piece of music in the saloon, it looks like film composer Andy Grey is responisible for writing all the music in the movie, including the two remaining songs in the end credits. As far as I can tell, one song is called "B.A.D." by Funky Boy and the other (presumably, the end song) is called "Piledriver" by .oombooooosh. I may be wrong about the spelling on the latter cuz even on dvd, it's hard to see. Since he composed the music for the film, these may just be imaginary bands featuring Grey on all instruments except for vocals. Try looking on a search engine for BPM records for which the songs are attributed.

Doubt you'd even see this, but I must continue my quest for this song. It's the one during the "What happened to..." ending. Really long. Kinda sounds like "Piledriver Grayed out summer mix" by Ameobassassin. But it's tweaked in a certain way. Any info?

Here are the songs as listed exactly in the credits:

"Saloon Bar"
Written by David Farnon
Provided by Associated Production Music

Comments: Well, the title explains it all; this is probably the piece of music used for the saloon scene. David Farnon seems to be some obscure guy who writes music that will go straight to one of those companies like Associated Production Music, which by my limited knowledge is a glorified warehouse that stocks as much music as possible, so that music editors (or whoever they are) for movies, TV shows, advertisements and video games could find that ‘perfect piece’ for their work.

"The Blue Danube"
Written by Johann Strauss
Provided by Associated Production Music

Comments: If you’re familiar with classical music, then you’ll recognize this piece written in 1867 from Strauss, the famous Austrian composer (1825 –1899). If you don’t, it’s basically a waltz, with that ‘waltzy’ 1-2-3, 1-2-3 beat. But it’s so popular; you’ll probably know it anyway. It was also used in Stanley Kubrick's 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

"B.A.D."
Composed by Andy Gray
Performed by Funky Boy
Courtesy of BPM Records

Comments: I honestly don’t remember when all the songs were featured in the movie (excepting “Piledriver”). oxblood says that "B.A.D." was played near the end, but seeing as I was watching this late at night (and was kinda sleepy!) my memory fails me. So I don’t remember what this song sounds like. I have no idea who or what Funky Boy is (an imaginary band?) and BPM Records doesn’t appear to exist, I think. Googling them yielded squat, so any hopes of getting this song is remote. Someone else wants to give it a try?

“Siegfried: Ewig War Ich”
Written by Richard Wagner
Provided by Associated Production Music

Comments: Wagner is another famous composer, this time from Germany (1813 –1883). “Siegfried” is actually an opera written in 1871. Talk about going back in time for some music!

“Piledriver”
Composed by Andy Gray and Steve Sacre
Performed by amoebaassassin
Courtesy of BPM Records

Comments: Ah yes, the only song I remember, because it startled me in the middle of the night! It’s one of those songs that, if you’re inclined to the genre, you fall in love instantly with (I know I did!) I’m not too sure of the spelling of Steve’s last name, and I’ve also seen several variant spellings of amoebaassassin, including Amoeba Assassin and Amoebassassin (with only 3 letter ‘a’s). Unfortunately, I’ve only found two versions of “Pliedriver”: ‘The Grayed Out Summer Mix’ that Grammaton485 mentioned (which I’ve seen attributed to Paul Okenfold), and ‘The Original Hurricane Mix’ – and neither of them sound like the version that that was played during the credits, although it does sound tantalizingly similar to the Hurricane Mix (but the accent beats I think are just slightly different, but I could be wrong).

Might as well keep this going. I will second that those are the two versions of Piledriver that exist. I did find a "Progressive Mix" but it was terrible. The Hurricane mix is defintlely closest to the movies ending. I guess I'll settle with that, even though the version I found is cut off.
