The hero mentions Hitler, and no one knows who he is. I guess they actually killed him in 1940, as the villian wanted. But Hitler had already started WW2 in 1939, so everyone would still know who he was. Or did I miss something ?

Maybe Hitler being killed in 1940 didnt become important enough? Someone else took his place?
